My jewelry creations employ the lost wax process. The images you see are originally sculpted in wax using dental tools and an alcohol lamp. These wax sculptures are then set in plaster and baked in a kiln until the wax evaporates. Molten silver or gold are then forced into the remaining negative image with a centrifuge. The fine cameos were taken from moldings I made of antique jewelry, from which I then created glazed ceramic portraits.
My work has appeared in galleries and won competitions. Some pieces are available for purchase.
